They fly really fast actually, especially when trying to get a good picture of them. They are super loud and you can hear them from a long way off.
There are more this year than I have ever seen. It was entertaining to watch them tonight because we had a big windstorm and the geese were trying to fly and stay together in their flock and the wind was actually blowing them farther back then where they started from. Most gave up and stayed where they were.
If you are not familiar with the Canadian Geese then I'll let you know, they DO fly in a V pattern through the sky. The "head" goose will fly at the front but then switches off with others as they fly.
Now I am just waiting to get my garden tilled up and planted.
