I very rarely remember to buy cards, for any occasion. I always remember them when I am at home preparing the gift (usually the night before) and don't have the time to go and get them and then just make something up. Well I decided that this year I would give my wee ones each their own Easter Card. So here is a quick tutorial on how I made the first one.
Material needed: Foam paper
Construction Paper
Markers
Feathers
Start by making an egg out of white construction paper. It folds at the top and bottom with the "crack" in the middle.
I wrote Happy Easter but feel free to add whatever you want.
I used a yellow foam sheet to make the background colour. I cut out 2 circles for the eyes and used a black marker for the pupil. Then I drew in the orange beak with marker also. Orange feathers were glued on for the arms and a little tuff of feather at the top of his head.
Write your message and you are good to go.
I'll post my next one here too, once it gets done. These cards will have to go in their keepsake boxes because it may be the only ones that they get from me!
